Accounts Administrator

Our client, a main contractor located in Buckingham are actively in the market for an Accounts Administrator for their head office. They enjoy a turnover of c£700 million and deliver projects ranging in value from £5 million up to £40 million.
Role:
To provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, by always paying attention to detail and with accuracy being paramount on data entry. You will be providing administration assistance to the Labour & Subcontract team, building relationships with other team members, whilst ensuring that all relevant Company Group & Sector Specific Procedures and Policies are met.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
? Request & update insurances for the department using Mail Merge and ensure the suppliers provide
adequate cover and be able to challenge if required
? Download & save invoices & timesheets from the Labour system to support the Labour team
? Assist with the shared email box for the Subcontract team and action accordingly
? Assist with requesting statements and help with statement reconciliations
? Be able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and assist others in the team so that department
deadlines are met
? Assist with answering telephone calls and distribute accordingly
? Filing of invoices and other paperwork
? Be willing to learn new tasks ie loading of invoices/invoice queries
? Have an understanding or willingness to learn about CIS and VAT
? Other Ad Hoc duties as requested by your line manager
