They are looking to broaden their finance function and add an experienced Accounts Assistant to the team. Your new role as the Accounts Assistant:

As the Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Finance Manager dealing with sales ledger, purchase ledgers and journals. The Finance Manager is highly experienced so will offer you great support.

Key duties:
• Enter purchase invoices via the purchase order processing system.
• Match purchase invoices with delivery notes and manual purchase orders, ensuring they are correctly coded and authorised
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Controlling credit and chasing debt
• Ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time

Experience & Qualifications required to apply:

To be considered, you must be possess at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. You will have high attention to detail skills, with excellent Excel skills. Ideally you will have started to study your AAT, with study support on offer to continue your studies.

Summary:

This is a diverse role which provides the successful candidate with a great platform to extend their knowledge and further their finance specific expertise. You will receive a competitive starting salary depending on your experience, which will be reviewed on an annual basis. This is a full time office based position, however my client is open to considering some flexibility around working hours.
