Based on the outskirts of St. Helens, within easy commute from the M6 my client, a rapidly growing market leader is seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join their team. Due to expansion this newly created role has become available at their head office. This is a really exciting time join the business.

Your new role as an Accounts Receivable Team Leader:

As an Accounts Receivable Team Leader you will report into the Finance Director managing a small team of Clerks. You will be responsible for overseeing the sales invoicing department and ensuring invoices a raised and processed correctly within set deadlines as required.

Day to day duties:

• Sales ledger management of the end-to-end process as well overseeing, training and supervising a small team
• Ensuring the database and customer accounts are up to date including any contracts that link to invoicing
• Managing the implantation of all customer accounts obtained via any acquisitions – ensuring that the records are accurate and set up in line with company policy
• Dealing with any rate increases and communicating these effectively
• Production of analysis and reports as when required by department heads
• Supporting the team in handling customer queries and managing any escalations where necessary
• Being hands on with day-to-day sales ledger processing alongside the team
• Obtaining PO’s where necessary
• Offering process improvement suggestions and being a proactive member of the wider finance team

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

• Previous experience in leading either a Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable Team]
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communications skills
