This firm hires people not job titles and are now seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Semi Senior to join their team in Stockport.

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of accounts for a range of clients. You will be expected to have a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting with the preparation of accounts for a range of clients.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Providing support to senior members of the team.
- Liaising with clients and building strong relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients.

Requirements:

- Part Qualified or AAT Qualified.
- Experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage would be beneficial.
