Kenton Black is currently seeking a talented Accounts Semi Senior based in the Northwest of to join a reputable Manchester based accountancy practice on a remote basis.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position will be between £25,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the preparation of annual accounts for a diverse client base.
- Completing VAT returns and providing advice on VAT-related matters.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Preparing management accounts and financial statements.
- Assisting in the production of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Liaising with clients and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A professional and proactive approach to work.
