A fast-growth e-commerce business in Cumbria are looking to appoint an Accounts Team Leader in a newly created role. Achieving 100%+ year on year growth, the business now operates in 40+ countries, processing transactions across multiple currencies. In line with continued growth, the new Accounts Team Leader will have the opportunity for career development within a fast-paced and forward thinking environment.

Head office is based in Ulverston, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely with 1-2 days office working.

Your New Role as Accounts Team Leader:

Receiving support and guidance from the Financial Controller, as Accounts Team Leader you will be required to manage and develop a team of Accounts Assistants, being responsible for their training, motivation and development.

Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations, you will be working with high volumes using a number of complex spreadsheets. You will also be a key player in driving improvements, reviewing existing processes and implementing enhancements where appropriate. This includes an upcoming system implementation and automation process changing from Sage 50 in the next 6-12 months.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered you will be a proven staff manager with the capability to quickly adapt to change and support staff throughout a positively changing environment. You will be confident working in a fast-paced and growing business, handling large volumes of data and transactions with strong Excel skills.
