Role: Construction Administrator / HR Advisor

Salary: up to £27,000

Kenton Black currently has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator/HR Advisor based in York.
Our client is a sub-contractor with a turnover approaching £40m. They have a strong family ethos, valuing their staff’s importance to the company’s success and investing in personal development.
This opportunity is site based, working on an exciting £40m.
As such the successful candidate will ideally have a background in the construction industry working in a similar position.
The role:
• Placing orders for materials and plant hire for all sites
• Contacting a range of suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations/placing orders.
• Dealing effectively with challenges from suppliers and the flow of materials
• Accepting/checking incoming deliveries/ sending to site – logistics
The Person:
• Have excellent attention to detail and be able to carry out tasks efficiently.
• Be able to work within a team.
• Self-motivated, organised and be able to work to strict time periods.
• Competent with IT (Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat)
• Good written processes and communication skills
On offer:
• Up to the salary of £27,000k per annum.
