Analytical Scientist
My client is a leading provider of a wide range of analytical testing services to a range to clients. They are now looking for experienced analytical Chemist to the Team.. You will be responsible for developing, optimising, validating, and running quantitative methods using and GC-MS/MS, LC and other analytical techniques

Responsibilities:
Work with Study Director and Section Head to develop, optimise and validate analytical methodologies.
Undertake chemical analysis on pesticide residues in compliance with GLP/UKAS regulations
Responsible for the operation and maintenance LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS instrumentation, as well as other laboratory equipment as required
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment and methods

Requirements:
BSc in Chemistry or related subject. Or equivalent experience in the industry
Relevant technical experience in using (including GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS) with associated high-level problem-solving skills
Demonstrable experience of sample preparation techniques e.g., liquid: liquid extraction, solid phase extraction etc.
Previous experience in working in a UKAS accredited laboratory
