Analytical scientist

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a pharmaceutical testing laboratory based in Wirral who are looking to hire multiple analytical scientists.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading multiple projects and ensuring successful completion
Responsible for planning and completing all assigned tasks
Communicate progress of projects with stakeholders
Perform experimental work using analytical techniques such as HPLC, method validation, and method development
Review assays for validation, method transfer, and qualification studies against standard operating procedures, protocols, and GMP.
Checking and verifying laboratory data, ensuring corrections are made as required
Validate methods in accordance with ICH guidelines and GMP guidelines
Provide training to junior staff

Qualifications:
Degree in Science or equivalent
Multiple years of experience in performing method validation using HPLC within a pharmaceutical testing laboratory
Experience in method validation and method development is desired
Experience in working a in research environment following GMP guidelines
Ability to quickly learn new processes
Ability to communicate clearly and to form strong working relationships with colleagues.
