Due to a recent acquisition, a new Assistant Management Accountant is required to join a large Group of businesses on the Fylde Coast. This is an all-encompassing position which would suit a CIMA/ACCA studier looking to further expand their skillset within a busy finance function.

Your New Role as Assistant Management Accountant:

With support from the Group FC and Management Accountant, as Assistant Management Accountant, your duties will include:

• Supporting with the production of the monthly management accounts pack
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Posting accruals, prepayments and journals
• Provision of ad hoc analysis and reports
• Assisting in the implementation of new systems and processes

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will already have exposure to management accounting principles, with good knowledge of transactional accounting processes including purchase ledger and sales ledger. Strong systems skills are required including Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills are also imperative as you will work in a people facing role which includes liaising with various internal stakeholders.
