A PE backed, rapidly growing service based Group of businesses in Blackpool are looking to strengthen their finance team by appointing a new Assistant Management Accountant. 100% year on year growth has been achieved through organic growth, acquisition and launching new products and services.

Your New Role as Assistant Management Accountant:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, as Assistant Management Accountant you will enjoy a diverse role covering the following duties:

• Assisting with the production of the management accounts pack for the Group
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Posting accruals, prepayments, journals
• VAT returns
• Exposure to year end / statutory accounting and audit
• Involvement in various projects relating to ongoing system and process improvements; M&A activity and growth strategy

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will ideally be studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA, with exposure to month end routine. Strong commercial acumen is required with good communication skills. Ambition for career progression/development is preferred as there are succession plans for this role to grow, so my client is looking for a driven individual who is keen to quickly learn and progress.
