Your New Role as Assistant Management Accountant:
Receiving support from the qualified Company Accountant, as the new Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Intercompany reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Assisting with the production of monthly consolidated Group Financial Reports
• Supporting with the production of budgets
• Assisting with the year end process including statutory accounts production and audit requirements
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The ideal candidate will be an active CIMA/ACCA studier, committing to qualifying (a comprehensive study package will be offered), although applications are welcome from candidates who are not studying but demonstrate sufficient relevant experience. Experience of a manufacturing environment is desirable and strong analytical skills are required. Additionally, you will possess good Excel skills with the ability to handle large data volumes.
