Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering

Salary up to £32k + Package

I am recruiting for a junior / intermediate QS who is NEC savvy who is looking to further their career in the civil engineering sector.

The role would best suit a graduate or junior Quantity Surveyor looking for the next step on the ladder and provide training as required if necessary.

Duties to include:

Monthly valuations on contracts up to 4 million pounds, generally using activity schedule or BOQ.
Value changes, ensuring contract timescales are strictly adhered to.
Site measures
Carry out costs v valuations analysis.
Applications for payment.
Ensure site costs are up to date.
Report accurate figures to the directors.
Be full conversant with the full Microsoft office suite.
Preferable – be able to use Microsoft project, or willingness to learn.

Given the nature of the role you spend quite a large portion of your time working on various sites across the area, before reporting back to the office.

Package flexible dependant on the level of person.
