THE ROLE
As the Audit Assistant Manager, you’ll have the chance to work with a wide variety of Charities and Limited companies with your main responsibilities will including:
- Leading audit engagements, which involves planning the audit, performing fieldwork, and completing the audit report.
- Managing audit team, supervising and mentoring members of the audit team, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Reviewing work performed by team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Building client relationships, developing and maintain strong relationships with clients, attending meetings and responding to client inquiries as needed.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends.
- Assisting with business development activities, such as writing proposals and preparing presentations to potential clients.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that audit engagements are completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with professional standards.
ABOUT YOU
- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least two years’ post qualification experience.
- Strong communication skills and confident speaking to clients.
- Competent in using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH Audit Automation would be ideal.
