Our client is a leading Accounting and Business Advisory firm, and they currently have an opportunity for another Audit Manager to join their existing and very successful team. You will be joining an expert business and tax advisory practice with personality and drive.

Their Audit Managers currently work with a range of Partners and Directors on clients from a wide range of industries and sectors.

They have a fantastic audit client base, focussed on family and owner managed businesses across a wide range of industries and sectors located in the North-West. As an Audit Manager within their audit department, you will join a talented team to manage a portfolio of audit clients.

As Audit Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients, and you will lead and develop members of the audit team, working closely with the Partners and Directors.

Key Responsibilities of the role of Audit Manager

-Managing a portfolio of clients, reporting to Partners and Directors
-Undertaking high quality audits, following their standard processes
-Confirming arrangements with their clients
-Briefing and overseeing staff on assignments, providing on the job training, liaising with client staff
-Identifying and resolving audit issues in conjunction with their clients and Partners
-Attending and presenting at audit planning and closing meetings
-Getting involved in recruitment and business development

Preferred Qualifications

-ACA or ACCA qualified with a proven track record of managing audit clients
