They are an exciting firm of chartered certified accountants which have been established for over 100 years where all their partners have come up through the ranks within the firm. They have also moved locations recently, opening up brand new, modern offices near the historic Liverpool docks.

They are general practitioners, therefore they can provide you with a wide variety of interesting clients ranging from micro businesses to large business with turnovers up to £100 million.
Because of the teams experience they are also able to provide a wide variety of accounting services including business advisory & taxation advice/planning.

- 35 hour week.
- Flexible working hours between 8:00am and 6:30pm allowing you to have an early finish of 4pm.
- Generous holiday package of 25 days annual leave plus all the Bank Holidays and a one of kind bonus scheme.
- Salary between £26,000 & £35,000 per annum DOE.
- Uncapped Full study support with 2 weeks paid study leave per year.
As an audit semi senior you will be responsible for identifying areas of risk within a business whilst being heavily involved in discussions with the client alongside the relevant partner.
You will be supporting an Audit Senior with on-site assignments and will report directly to the partner regarding multiple audits whilst You will deal with a broad range of clients and also support junior members of the team.
You will also:
- Experience managing an audit team
- Build upon your leadership skills and coach team members whilst managing relationships with clients.
- Lead your own audits, reviewing work done by the team with written feedback, along with planning and running audits.
- Work with a variety of clients and truly become a specialist in your chosen area of audit.
- Work on advisory engagements, with both our audit and non-audit clients.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE…
You will be a keen individual that possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will ideally be ACA/ACCA part-qualified but study support towards these qualifications will still be considered.
You will have an accurate and methodical approach to work with 2 years of previous experience working in an accountancy practice and a driving license as some audits will require travel.
