Kenton Black Finance are delighted to be working with a reputable and ambitious mid-tier Accountancy Practice who are currently looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team. They have experienced significant growth in the last 2 years so you will be joining an empowered and innovative team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an Audit Semi-Senior your role will see you taking complete responsibility for the audit engagements. You will plan and complete each assignment on time and within budget and have full or part responsibility of the preparation and completion of the audit file depending on the size of the client ready to deliver to the Manager, Director, or Partner. On larger audits you will mentor and review junior members of the team. Part of the role will also include the preparation of accounts and the drafting of journals, the drafting of management letters, assist in the training of junior members of the team and liaise with the senior management team if there are any issues you feel need bringing to their attention.

SKILLS WE'D LIKE TO SEE
For the role of Audit Semi Senior we would like you to be able to demonstrate –
- Your ability to work to deadlines
- Good technical understanding
- A background in external audit working with a variety of clients from various industries
- ACA / ACCA newly/part qualified or equivalent
- Experience reviewing/ mentoring junior team member’s work.
