Kenton Black are delighted to be working with a Top 20 firm with a global reach who are looking for an Audit Senior to join their Nottingham team.

You will be a key member of the team where you will work closely with the Audit Manager and clients in order update and manage the progress of the assignment, supervising the junior members of the team and being the first point of contact for the client.

MAIN DUTIES:
- Maintain and develop technical ability by attending webinars and keeping abreast of technical developments to deliver good quality work
- Responsible for the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments
- Leading the audit team and review of audit working papers of junior members of the team
- Prepare draft accounts and review disclosures in reference to the applicable checklist
- Being the first point of contact for the client whilst on-site and ensure any remaining queries are dealt with promptly even after the fieldwork has ended
- Identify any areas of weakness in the client’s system and controls and making reasonable recommendations for improvements
- Keep the manager informed of any issues that arise
- Discuss and agree any potential audit journals with the client during fieldwork
- Raise any potential time overruns with the manager as they are identified
- Be responsible for clearing review points and addressing any follow up queries until the date of the audit report is signed

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
To be considered for the role of Audit Senior you will meet the following criteria:-
- Qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA
- Experience completing Full Audits for a variety of clients
- Good communications skills both written and verbal
- Experience supervising junior members of the team
- Able to manage your own workload
