Our client, an established main contractor, who currently enjoy a turnover in excess of £700million are actively in the market for experienced BIM Coordinator for their Midlands region. They operate within both the Civil Engineering and Build sector, however this current requirement is very much focused on their Building arm.

You would report to the BIM Manager and work on various sites around the Greater Midlands. You can be based in either the West Midlands or South Midlands office, alternatively working from home and visiting site can also be accommodated.

With a variety of projects ranging in value up to £100million and within a multiple business sectors including: Industrial, Student Accommodation, Data Centers, Retirement Living & High Rise Residential, our client is actively in the market to strengthen their BIM team.

You Will:
? Support the development of project BIM Execution Plan’s (BEP) at both pre-contract and post-contract stage
? Support the clash detection process by federating models and managing the checking process. Work with the Design Management team to review errors and report responsibility where necessary
? Manage the BIM processes and procedures for each project. Work closely with the design manager to ensure each projects requirements are met
? Manage the consultants and supply chain BIM delivery. Host training sessions where required and validate their deliverables to ensure compliance with project Exchange Information Requirements (EIR)
? Support ‘Design Team Meetings’ (DTM) with regards to BIM. Prepare the models for review and navigate the software during the sessions.

We’re Looking for:
? An understanding of the construction industry in the context of BIM
? Previous practical experience of 3D modelling, embedded data, collaboration and coordination software.
? Proficient in the use of software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manager and Solibri model checker, Fieldview, Revizto
? Familiarity with data exchange formats such as DGN, DWG, NWD, IFC and COBie
? Likely to hold professional qualification from a construction or related background.
