Bioanalytical Scientist

A leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO) that supports client research within the Biopharmaceutical sector is seeking a confident Bioanalytical Scientist / Senior LCMS Analyst.

The Site houses state-of-the-art facilities allowing the suitable Bioanalytical scientist to get hands on experience with a wide variety of exciting projects and techniques.

Working in a team of experts alongside a personalised development program the suitable candidate will have a great opportunity to develop and progress their career as a Bioanalytical scientist.

We are seeking candidates with the following:

 qualifications:

  • Degree (BSc / MSc / PhD) in a scientific discipline such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related life science (Essential)
  • Hands-on experience utilizing Mass Spectroscopy (LC/MS/MS) for analysis / Bioanalysis (Open to other fields such as environmental or food testing) (Essential)
  • Familiarity with Oligonucleotide / Biologic analysis (advantageous).
  • Extensive involvement in a regulatory GxP laboratory setting, demonstrating a strong grasp of GMP principles. (Advantageous).
  • Robust background in method development and validation, particularly with LC/MS/MS techniques (Advantageous).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a larger team, capable of conveying procedures, findings, and problems in a timely manner. (Essential)
  • Proficient practical lab skills along with adeptness in problem-solving. (Essential)
  • Capability to oversee projects comprehensively from inception to completion within designated timelines. (Essential)
  • Strong Documentation to GDP guidelines (Advantageous)

Responsibilities:

This role entails working across a diverse range of Biopharmaceutical projects encompassing routine analysis, method development, validation, and issue resolution, utilizing LC/MS/MS techniques. These projects will span varying scales, scopes, and timelines.

You will strategise and execute analytical tasks, interpret generated data, and prepare reports when necessary, all within the framework of the Biologics group, using LC/MS/MS methodologies.
