Business development coordinator – Scientific

Job opportunity for BD coordinator position within an environmental testing laboratory!

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to an environmental testing laboratory who are looking for a BD coordinator to join their team based in Manchester.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for providing quotations to external clients
Support business development team leader in analysing key sales data
Provide technical support and answer any queries that external clients may have via email, telephone or face to face
Responsible for developing strong technical knowledge across occupational hygiene, pathology and stack emissions
Provide support in collating and analysing sales data
Attend network events and exhibitions
Upselling to existing clients and perform outreach activity to improve client spends

Requirements

Essential:

This role will be suitable for recent graduates who are interested in gaining experience in commercial/ sales roles.
Degree in Science or equivalent - happy to consider candidates who has a sales and marketing experience or relevant degree education
Excellent communication and written skills
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to work independently
Full UK driving license (Essential)
Excellent IT skills ( MS office packages)
You will be a self-motivated hard working individual and thrive on delivering exceptional results.
