Business development manager/ Clinical Genetics

Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to a global laboratory that provides clinical diagnostic testing services. Our client is looking to hire a business development manager who is responsible for developing new sales opportunities within clinical diagnostics.
This is a home-based role.
Responsible for identifying new sales opportunities within diagnostic laboratories and NHS
Build and maintain relationship with new clients and maintain existing client portfolio
Lead tender processes
Development of marketing strategies and sales plans
Provide support to sales team by developing sales strategies, giving presentations to potential new clients and creating sales proposals for new clients.
Keep up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
Responsible for monitoring competitor activities
Degree in science or equivalent
Proven sales and business development experience within clinical diagnostic & pharmaceutical industry experience
Previous experience in building client relationships within the clinical laboratory sector
Familiarity with ISO 15189 or ISO17025, NICE and GMP practices.
Excellent communication skills
