Chemistry laboratory technician

This is a permanent role paying a competitive salary
Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a leading British food testing laboratory who are looking to hire a chemistry technician to their expanding team.

Key responsibilities:

Analysis of food samples using analytical techniques
Carry out Allergen testing using analytical techniques such as HPLC and ELISA
Responsible for logging sample data and collecting analytical data
Responsible for participate in on-going R&D projects
Working according to UKAS guidelines
Sample and test raw materials to determine appropriate functionality.
To maintain laboratories in a safe, tidy and clean manner

Requirements:
Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
Previous experience in using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC
Previous experience in using ELISA
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Excellent organization skills
Excellent written and communication skills
