A Contract research organisation within the Pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical industry is currently recruiting for a skilled and accomplished Chromatography Scientist to join our esteemed team based in Manchester.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with hands-on experience in chromatographic techniques such as SEC, RP-HPLC, IEX, and HPLC to join a global CRO and develop this skillset through working in a team of experts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in various chromatographic techniques, including SEC (Size Exclusion Chromatography), RP-HPLC (Reverse-Phase High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), IEX (Ion Exchange Chromatography), and HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) method development.
2. Method Development: Utilize your extensive knowledge of method development to create robust and efficient analytical methods. Through your expertise in optimizing separation and achieving high-resolution results, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions that meet the unique requirements of our biopharmaceutical clients.
3. Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous quality standards in a GMP and GLP environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Meticulous documentation of experimental protocols, results, and data analysis will be essential to maintaining accuracy and reproducibility.
4. Collaborative Environment: Flourish in a collaborative team environment, collaborating closely with talented scientists, researchers, and analysts. Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field
Extensive hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of SEC, RP-HPLC, IEX, and HPLC method development techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proven aptitude for troubleshooting instrument-related issues.
Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear conveyance of complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences within the biopharmaceutical field.
