We’re looking for a Clerk of Works/Works Supervisor/Resident Site Inspector to oversee construction on a new logistics terminal all the way up in Mossend, Motherwell.

The Phase 1 project that you’ll be working on, is the complete replacement of a 12.5 acre heavy duty pavement with new drainage, lighting, services and reachstacker fuel/wash bays.

The role is to monitor the quality of workmanship of the contractor(s) and intervene if not to the agreed (1) construction drawings and specification and/or (2) QA guides and (3) to make sure there is a proper audit trail.

With over 40 sites UK wide, ranging from shipping to rail and haulage, their spectacular growth in the last twenty or so years of operating has created a number of exciting opportunities across the group.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract initially, although there is also the possibility of Phase 2 – a new office/welfare, car park and HGV truck park, subject to budget and performance.
