Kenton Black are excited to be working with an established and friendly accounting firm currently looking to add to their existing accounts team. Due to continued growth they are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant/ Accounts Senior

ABOUT THE FIRM
They are an established firm of chartered certified accountants and registered auditors. They are a 3 Partner firm with multiple offices in the Merseyside Region. They have recently moved locations and bought brand new modern furnished offices that have great views!

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a practice they are general practitioners and therefore can provide their staff with a wide variety of interesting clients ranging from micro businesses to their largest audit client of circa £100m. Whilst the do audit as a practice, this is NOT a necessity for this role.
They pride themselves in providing their client's with the highest level of customer service along with best practice advice in a way that their none finance clients can easily understand.
They provide a comprehensive accountancy service with additional services including business advisory, taxation advice/planning and company secretarial support.
As Registered Auditors they are authorised to carry out statutory audits and specialise in providing a complete accountancy and/or taxation service in the following areas including:
Individual Self-Assessment Returns, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies (with or without Audit), LLPs, Charity Accounts, Clubs and Associations, Solicitors Accounts and other Regulated Bodies.
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts
- CT600's and self-assessments returns
- Working with a variety of clients including: Limited Companies, Sole Traders & Partnerships
- Dealing with clients across email, over the phone and where required face to face
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
-Qualified by Experience or ACA/ ACCA Qualified
-Experience of preparing year end accounts
-Experience of using a range of software including: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc.
-Ability to communicate at all levels including colleagues and clients
- Strong time management skills and the ability to demonstrate working to strict deadlines
