Highways / Infrastructure

I am currently working with a new client in the Highways and Infrastructure Sector. They are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join their Midlands region. As a business they are currently going through a sustained period of growth in the market and is looking to grow even more over the next few years.

My client is a National Highways contractor that specialise in street lighting, traffic signs, technology and street furniture. They have an excellent reputation within the sector and are set for the busiest year to date. They are currently part of a major highway’s frameworks throughout the country. They turnover circa £34m a year, with a busy orderbook for upcoming year.

They currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join their Midlands region, covering all projects from north of the M25 to the south of Sheffield. The role will be direct support to the Commercial Director with real emphasis on financial reporting and contractual knowledge. As a rapidly growing business, no two days are ever the same, so day in day in out what you do will vary.

• NEC Contract Experience
• Main Contractor Background (Will consider civil engineering and earthworks contracting experience)
• Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in the same role
• Commutable to their Northamptonshire office
• Preferrable B.Sc. or HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar
