An exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a Tier 2 Main Contractor in the Solihull region who are on the cusp of being a Tier 1 Company through all the work they are securing and developing. As a major UK contractor my client has a diversified workload in the public, regulated and private sectors. Boasting a strong reputation for providing whole-life solutions, high standards of project delivery, and an ability to innovate.
My client enjoys a £150 Million Turnover out of the Solihull Region with projects ranging from £10 Mil - £50 Mil covering a range of sectors including Commercial, Education & Healthcare.
About The Role:
As a Contracts Manager you will play an integral role in running multiple sites within the West Midlands area. You will report directly to the Senior Contracts Manager. Focus on:
Overseeing 2 – 3 projects at one time. 1 big and 1 small project.
Overseeing individual site teams, which will be headed up with project managers and site managers.
Responsible for the operational and financial aspect of the project
Ensure that the project is managed and executed in the proper manner.
Liaise with the construction team, quantity surveyors, clients, consultants, and contractors.
Attend client meetings throughout the project lifecycle, building strong, sustainable business relationships with the client.
Experience of working as a Contracts Manager managing multiple sites.
Proven track record in leading teams on projects.
Successful track record in making independent, strategic decisions.
Commercially aware with excellent people management skills.
Experience of speaking to clients at multiple levels
Experience of managing sub-contractors effectively
SMSTS and First Aid
Live within a commutable distance of Solihull.
