ABOUT THE FIRM
Our Client an established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across Manchester and the North West are currently seeking to recruit a Corporate Finance Assistant to join their existing team.
They work with SME’s and Owner Managed businesses with leading expertise and a personalised approach when working with their clients.
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director you will have a true desire to work in Corporate Finance and whilst desirable it is not essential to have current Corporate Finance experience.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CORPORATE FINANCE ASSISTANT
-Researching and preparing for new deal opportunities and pitches
-Assisting with the preparation of transaction documentation including business plans, through to financial forecasts
-Researching and approaching potential buyers / sellers for clients
-Modelling different transaction scenarios
-Liaising with the senior leadership team and clients, ensuring both are kept fully informed of any issues arising during the projects.
-Assisting with due diligence assignments including the field work through to the final reports
-Ability to work to strict deadlines
-Strong relationship building skills with ability to create a strong network of contacts
SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN THE ROLE OF CORPORATE FINANCE ASSISTANT
-ACA/ACCA qualified is essential
-A strong desire to work within corporate finance is essential although previous experience is not essential
-Personable and approachable with the ability to liaise with colleagues and external parties at all levels
-Strong overall communication skills both in writing, over the phone and face to face
