Kenton Black are delighted to be working with an established practice of reasonable size within the Leeds and surrounding areas who are currently looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Associate Partner/ Tax Partner with valuable technical expertise and proven skills.

You will be joining a reputable organisation with a family feel, a business that rarely loses their staff to their competitors due to their exceptional team culture. With over 50 employees and a mixed Tax Department including Personal and Private Client Tax, Corporation Tax and Payroll Services you will be joining their growing Corporation Tax Department.

Across the teams, their work is varied and an example of their services include: Self Assessments, Corporate Tax Planning, R&D Tax Credits, Trusts and Estates, VAT, Paying Tax and more. Their clients range in size but on average are firms with turnovers upto circa £40m, some larger, some smaller.

As a business they pride themselves on being of a size where they can offer a full and diverse range of services whilst still maintaining exceptional levels of client service.

AS CORPORATE TAX ASSOCIATE PARTNER/ TAX PARTNER a summary of your duties will include:

-Corporate Tax Compliance - tax reviews for audit and business services
-Corporate Tax Advisory – Company Restructuring (managing project throughout), Succession Planning, Approved/Unapproved Share Schemes (EMI), Valuations
-Liaising with HMRC on client matters and enquiries
Client Relationship Manager for a varied portfolio of owner managed business, trusts and high net worth individuals
-Ad hoc technical support to Directors and other key individuals across the practice
-Research & Development claims, preparing and amending CT600 based on figures provided by specialist firms
-Nurture and support of the existing tax team
Tracking WIP, negotiating fees and billing clients

EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE OF TAX ASSOCIATE PARTER/ TAX PARTNER

-CTA Qualified – Essential
-Strong Advisory Background – Essential
-Corporate Tax Background – Essential
-Personal/ Private Client Tax Background – Desirable but not essential
-Experience of working with a variety of OMB’s of reasonable size – Essential
