Our Client a leading and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in York have a significant presence in Yorkshire and whilst very established, are still a growing accountancy, tax and business advisory firm with lots to offer their employees re long term career development.
Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Working within their tax department as Corporate Tax Manager, you will be heading up their Corporation Tax services department and you will have the responsibility for managing their Corporation Tax function, delivering a full range of tax services, in a role and environment where you can progress in your career.
As Corporate Tax Manager your KEY RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
-Preparing Corporation Tax computations and supporting tax returns for their most complex clients
-Reviewing and final sign off on Corporation Tax computations and returns, prepared by other team members
-Completing tax planning work, which will include areas such as group tax planning, property planning, capital allowances, R&D Tax Credits and s 455 tax planning
-Dealing with HMRC enquires
-Building and maintaining client relationships
-Identifying tax planning opportunities
PERSON SPECIFICATION/ ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
You will be ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified with a corporate tax background
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
-The working week: 35 hours per week, to be worked from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
