Our Client a leading and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in York have a significant presence in Yorkshire and whilst very established, are still a growing accountancy, tax and business advisory firm with lots to offer their employees re long term career development.

Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior

ROLE OVERVIEW

Working within their tax department as Corporate Tax Senior, you will be working within their tax department and will have the opportunity to work on wide ranging complex compliance with increasing involvement in tax planning, in a role and environment where you can progress your career.

As Corporate Tax Senior you will be assisting the managers within the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Preparing Corporation Tax computations and supporting tax returns
-Preparation of forms CT61 and P11D’s
-Formulate effective remuneration strategies for clients
-Dealing with HMRC enquiries
-Building and maintaining client relationships
-Identifying tax planning opportunities

PERSON SPECIFICATION/ ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

You will be ATT qualified or part ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified with a corporate tax compliance background. Full study support will be provided to complete studies, where relevant.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

-The working week: 35 hours per week, to be worked from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
