Cost Accountant, Hybrid

We are currently representing this global growing inspirational business, at the forefront of its field. It is an exciting and dynamic company which is forward thinking and open to change. Within the manufacturing operations side of the business, the company is looking to recruit a strong Cost Accountant.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage all inventory accounting across ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards with responsibilities
  • Annual standard cost setting process: Responsible for co-ordinating the year end standard cost roll and inventory revaluation process
  • Lead point of contact for all inventory audit requests
  • Review and approve proposed routing changes and new inventory items
  • Assisting the team with the annual budgeting process and other ad hoc queries / projects
  • Work with finance and operations team to assist in helping to drive savings through analysis on recipe or routing changes

Experience required

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified is desirable, active studiers with experience will be considered
  • Experience of finance, within manufacturing operations, in a standard cost environment and showing understanding of manufacturing variances.
  • Cost accounting experience in ERP systems
  • Candidates from an Audit background will be considered

  • Able to deal effectively and communicate well with multiple stakeholders
