Kenton Black Finance have once again partnered with a well-respected company in the Chorley area. This business are truly a brand leader in their industry and are recruiting to cover maternity leave. They are therefore interviewing for a Credit Control Team Leader on a 12 month contract to join their already experienced team. Once the 12 month contract finishes, there will be the opportunity to continue your employment via an alternative senior Credit Control position within the business.
Your new role as the Credit Control Team Leader:
As the Credit Control Team Leader you will manage the day to day running of the Credit Control team, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and that the team is working happily, effectively and efficiently. In addition, you will recruit new members of staff into the department, and fully train new staff to a high standard. You will also undertake the following duties:-
• Collection of rent on behalf of clients
• Processing card payments
• Negotiating & enforcing payment plans
• Proving/disproving arrears through use of spread sheets
• Advising clients when to serve notice and which notices to serve
• Providing guidance and opinion on how far to take a case legally
• Collection of fees due to company
• Liaising with branch and senior management
• Negotiating settlement discounts
• Reconciliation of ledgers to identify anomalies
• Implementing safeguards to reduce risk and loss to the business
• Setting up and cancelling direct debits
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
To be considered, you must be possess at least 3 years experience in a similar role. You will also have excellent communication abilities, be a competent negotiator and have intermediate Excel skills. You will be capable of working well under pressure, work to deadlines and be able to be discrete when required.
Salary and Reward on Offer:
