Based on the outskirts of St. Helens, within easy commute from the M6 my client, a rapidly growing market leader is seeking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their existing team. Your new role as a Credit Controller:

As a Credit Controller you will report into the Accounts Receivable Team Leader. You will be responsible for ensure the debts are collected for the group within a timely manner and that all queries are dealt with in accordance to company policy.

Day to day duties:

• Chasing payments via phone, letter and email
• Sending statements to debtors
• Negotiating payments terms where needed
• Working to targets to reduce debtor days
• Following the correct procedures internally and externally to recover debt
• Liaising with management regarding outstanding debt and any issues with debtors
• Reporting on aged debt

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

• Experienced within a Credit Controllers position recently
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communications skills
• Strong IT skills
