Kenton Black Finance are supporting a local, professional business who are based in the Leyland area. This organisation aim to provide an exceptional service and to do that they invest in their staff to ensure they are appropriately trained and qualified. Our Client is now recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis. You will work on a hybrid basis, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. In addition, you will receive 26 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), and a company pension.

Your new role as the Credit Controller:

As the Credit Controller you will carry out the following duties:-

- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors via telephone and email
- Allocation of customer receipts
- Responding to relevant client enquiries
- Liaising with the managers to resolve outstanding queries
- Working closely with the financial controller to improve company cashflow
- Monthly invoicing
- Working to strict monthly collection targets/deadline
- Other financial and administration tasks to ensure a smooth running finance department

Experience & Qualifications required to apply:

- Good attention to detail
- Minimum 3 years credit control experience
- Energy and motivation
- Multi-tasking skills
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- Process improvement ideas
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Knowledge of IRIS and Xero software not essential, but would be an advantage
- Good all round IT skills and proficient in Excel
