Job Title: Development Manager
Location: Chester, North West (UK)

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of talented scientists and researchers in the development of molecular diagnostic products and custom assays.
Drive the research and development efforts from conceptualization through feasibility studies, assay optimization and development, and final product design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of research findings into the product development pipeline.
Implement robust verification and validation processes for new product development, in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to propose novel ideas and explore emerging technologies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in molecular diagnostic assay development, with a track record of successful product launches.
Deep understanding of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, RT-qPCR, sequencing, and nucleic acid extraction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
