Kenton Black are delighted to be working a leading Accountancy Practice across the Home Counties who are looking for an experienced External Auditor to join them at Assistant Manager level. This role will see you taking an active part in every aspect of the Audit process, You will work closely with the Audit Manager and Director to develop your skills leading and managing a team, identifying training needs with the junior members of the team. You will take an active role in managing your clients, planning, leading, reporting and being the main point of contact for your clients.

The role will include –

• Planning and completion of Audits for a range of clients
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Preparation of draft Corporation Tax returns
• Supervision of the team, identifying training gaps and implementing development strategies
• Be a proactive member of the Management team, identifying business development opportunities

For this role we would like to see candidates with the following –

• ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience External Audit within a Public Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (knowledge of FRS 105 and FRS 102 required, and knowledge of IFRS desirable).
• A confident communicator
• Systems experience with CCH Accounts Production, CCH ProAudit, Alphatax, MS Office, Sage 50, Quickbooks, Xero.
