Your new role as Estimator

As an Estimator you will work closely with the Commercial Director to ensure the smooth running of the tendering process, including creating tenders and following them with the client.

Key responsibilities include:

As an Estimator you will be responsible for the following:
• Maintain the tender register, log into the system, print drawings, etc
• Send out mail merges to chase tenders and prospects
• Price all work from First Principles
• Meet clients pre and/or post tender
• Conduct site visits when required
• Attend handover meetings with delivery team upon contract award
• Update and maintain the resource library
• Set up contracts on Sage – which is linked to the estimating software

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

To qualify for this Estimator role you must have the following:
• Experience of estimating within civil engineering
• Experience of speaking to clients at multiple levels
• Experience of managing sub-contractors effectively
• SMSTS and First Aid
• CSCS card
• Must have knowledge of Estimating Software
