ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR – GROUNDWORKS

My client is a £50million turnover civil engineering and groundwork’s contractor, privately owned and growing year on year. They are presently looking for an experienced Groundworks Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor with some experience on Groundworks packages to undertake a variety of commercially focussed duties on groundwork’s schemes valued anything from £5m – 20m. Due to an influx of work and lots of success my client needs to grow his team fast.

• Commercial and Industrial Groundworks Schemes
• Foundations, Deep and Shallow Drainage, Retaining Walls, Piling, Hardstandings and External Works
• Roads and Sewers Schemes

Locations of work:
• Exeter
• Southwest

Daily Rate if Freelance:
• Daily rate of up to £450per day LTD

You will be responsible for valuations, variations, take offs, procurement of subcontractors and dealing with the client daily. If you are already capable of managing your own schemes from start to finish, then you will be able to crack on and deliver the projects. The contractor is growing and has plans to develop the business over the next 2/3 years much further hence the upturn in workload and the requirement for additional Quantity Surveying Staff.
