Job Title: Analytical Field Service Engineering
Location: Cambridge (Role Requires Travel)
Responsibilities:
• Utilize your significant experience with GC-MS, LC-MS, and analytical method development to troubleshoot, install, and repair designated equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance and implement field modifications to enhance equipment performance.
• Manage the ordering and inventory of repair parts for efficient field repairs.
• Maintain meticulous customer service logs and internal service records promptly and accurately.
• Engage in daily communications with customers, ensuring effective issue resolution and follow-up.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of tools and test equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer service delivery issues effectively.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in analytical method development and working with GC-MS, LC-MS in an analytical laboratory.
• Experience with SIFT-MS is desirable.
• Strong time management skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Exceptional decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of proficiency in computer skills, including OEM Software, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
