Kenton Black Finance have partnered with an acquisitive and established business in the Barrow area. Our Client have seen year on year growth over the last number of years and are continuing to forge new relationships to further strengthen their position in the market.

Your New Role as the Finance Assistant:
As the Finance Assistant you will report to the Finance Manager, carrying out the following duties:-
? Purchase order processing invoices and supplier statements reconciliations
? Monitor debtor and creditor balances and chasing up payments
? Support preparation of quarterly VAT returns
? Produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance manager
? Processing journals on the system
? Monitoring and communicating department spend and variances
? Processing employee expenses and company credit card expenses
? Resolving queries, both external and internal, associated with all the above activity
? Assisting the finance team on an ad-hoc basis
? Entering cash book receipts and payments onto the system
? Entering sales invoices onto the finance system
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered for this position, you will have good IT skills, including Excel applications. In addition you will be able to work as part of a team, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a good knowledge of financial procedures and practices. You will also have experience in collection of payments and debt management, whilst being able to process a large volume of purchase and sales invoices.
