A large, multi-site manufacturing business in Cumbria are looking to strengthen their finance team by recruiting a Finance Business Partner. With a turnover of approximately £150m, the business employees almost 1,500 staff across various international locations, both in the UK and overseas.

This is an excellent springboard opportunity for a career driven individual seeking a business facing role which includes many hands on aspects within finance. You may be an ambitious graduate with hands on experience in finance, be AAT qualified or already be studying CIMA or ACCA. (A full study package will be offered to the successful individual to complete CIMA/ACCA).

Your New Role as Finance Business Partner:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role acts as a key business partner to a range of internal stakeholders, whilst supporting with routine tasks within the finance function. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation, review and communication of financial results
• Management of the fixed asset register
• Inventory management
• Review of plant efficiencies and manufacturing overheads
• KPI analysis and reporting
• Supporting with budget preparation
• Provision of ad hoc analysis and reports as required
• Being a key player in various projects relating to continual improvements and business performance

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will offer a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a finance function and have either completed a degree, AAT L4, or be actively studying CIMA or ACCA, with commitment to become fully qualified. Strong systems skills are required including good Excel ability and strong communication skills are imperative to thrive in this role.
