Your New Role as Finance Business Partner:

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a friendly team, responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of management accounts with analysis and commentary
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enable strong financial performance and aid effective decision making
• Daily review of projects, challenging variances Vs budget and performance, delivering findings to production and management
• Provision of ad hoc analysis to highlight true resource utilisation, operational efficiency, and team profitability
• Ongoing review of expenditure, providing commentary
• Providing advice and support to non-finance heads of departments
• Providing variance analysis/KPIs/commentary to management deriving key insights from reports to drive proactive and good decision making
• Production of budgets and forecasts
• Support commercial teams with new business initiatives including pricing strategies and new business tendering
• Support with the review and improvement of existing processes, ensuring robust controls and best practice
• Supporting and mentoring junior finance staff as required

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will be proven in a similar level Management Accounting/Finance Business Partnering position, ideally with knowledge of a manufacturing or product based business. Strong communication and business partnering skills are pivotal, with the ability to influence and challenge where required. Strong IT skills are also essential including Excel as you will be using complex models and spreadsheets, handling large data volumes.
