A manufacturing organisation with a global reach have partnered with Kenton Black Finance to recruit a Finance Business Partner/Cost Accountant. Firmly rooted within their market for 50+ years, the business has undergone a significant period of change and continued growth is forecasted.
This role has been designed to work cross-functionally throughout the business, providing financial information and analysis to enable effective decision making, driving business strategy.
This is a full time, permanent position based at their manufacturing site in between Lancaster and Kendal. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed including a hybrid working arrangement to include 1-2 days remote working if required.

Your New Role as Finance Business Partner/Cost Accountant:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work within a friendly team of 6-7 finance staff in a varied and hands on position. With appropriate levels of support and guidance, specific duties will include:
• Production of the monthly management accounts and board pack
• Production of weekly business data with analysis
• Support business planning by providing financial analysis and modelling
• Support with statutory accounting requirements including audit
• Measuring business KPIs
• Business partnering with commercial, sales and operational staff to provide meaningful financial information and support
• Maintain and develop product costings
• Support with budgeting activities
• Supporting with ad hoc financial projects
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
A background within the manufacturing industry is essential for this requirement. Ideally you will be fully CIMA qualified with sufficient experience in a similar level role. Cost accounting and financial modelling experience is required as well as excellent Excel skills with the ability to handle and manipulate complex data sets. Additionally, strong communication skills are imperative as you will be required to liaise with various stakeholders within the business at all levels.
