With a focus on providing training and education across many areas, they operate with a focused and dedicated senior leadership team who strive to provide the best facilities and tools for their pupils to succeed and excel. Overseeing the financial operation this role will suit an experienced and dynamic leader to enable and facilitate the future direction of the organisation. Taking the lead on all financial activity this role will lead on managing the team, and will also add value to the strategic direction in a varied and interesting role.

Your New Role As Finance Manager:
As Finance Manager, reporting to the lead in Finance you shall lead the finance team and enhance the financials through reporting and partnering across the business units. Responsible for the line management of the finance team, you shall support the ongoing development of process and procedure, whilst maintaining accurate and timely accounting across the various financial cycles. A varied and rewarding position, where no day is the same you shall work closely with the leadership team in a role to add value across many areas of the finance function.
Main role duties:
• Management of the finance team
• Enhancing the financial detail through effective month end reporting and the production of management accounts
• Ensuring the timely and accurate processing across Procurement, purchasing invoices and payments, to also include sales invoicing and income recognition
• Treasury management, cashbook and banking
• General ledger, fixed assets and chart of accounts management
• Ongoing development of process, procedure and the use of systems
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
To be considered for this role you shall ideally have experience within the education sector, highly motivated, financially astute and able to deliver effective leadership, you shall have a proven track record of adding value in a senior position. Qualified accordingly, you shall have operated in a similar senior position. A hands-on leader, in the knowledge this role will require the preparation and completion of monthly/yearly accounts you shall have the skills to manage a finance team , whilst leading on process and procedural development in a fast paced environment.
