Your role as Finance Manager - Transactions

This unique opportunity will support the FC to manage the day to day activity in finance. A hands-on role, you shall roll up your sleeves and manage the transactional teams. Overseeing PL, SL and Credit control, your role will be to steer the ship to ensure the timely production of monthly accounting requirements.

Main Role Duties:

• Day to day management of the Finance team (5 heads)
• Maintain and manage the ledger process for each trading companies including overseas subsidiaries.
• Maintain and manage creditors and debtors ledgers, ensuring they are maintained for all group trading companies, this includes month end reconciliation in a timely basis.
• Ensure month end procedures are completed in a timely manner, with the end goal to ensure accurate trial balances.
• Manage the bank and intercompany reconciliation process.
• Maintain the Purchase and Sales ledge, coding both nominal and cost codes.
• Stock reconciliations and journals completion.

• Responsible for the reporting of prepayments and accruals and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and monitor daily sales report for accuracy
• Preparation of quarterly VAT reports for group trading companies
• Assist in the preparation of journals for the year end audit files.

This is a lead role to manage process and procedure whilst supporting the team to develop ways of working to streamline the accounting function. Taking the lead role, ensuring timely accounting, this is a dynamic role where no day will be the same, you shall be supported along the way by a talented finance lead in a position which shall play an important part of the continued success of the group.

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

To be considered for this role you shall have experience in a fast paced environment, in a similar role. With strong leadership skills, you shall have a strong understanding of PL, SL and Credit control, with the aptitude to lead teams in this area of finance. Hands-on and able to add value, this role will suit a strong transactional manager who has further skills to enhance a finance department.
