Company Details and Job Overview:

Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a reputable and well respected business in the Kirby Lonsdale area who have been operating for over 25 years and who pride themselves on the service they provide the community. They now seek to appoint a Finance Officer on a permanent basis who will assist in co-ordinating and supporting the finance team and activities across the business. In addition, this role offers hybrid working, 2 days a week from home.

Your New Role as the Finance Officer:

As the new Finance Officer, you will report directly into the Group Management Accountant. The duties will be as follows:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for designated sites, this will include:- accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Raising invoices and credit notes
• Reporting of costs and particularly costs that appear excessive
• Management of relevant purchase ledgers including the use of a Purchase Order System
• Support to Management Accountant and Group Financial Controller in reviewing the finances
• Credit Control on relevant sales ledgers
• Posting of cash receipts and payments on relevant ledgers
• Assistance in financial checks

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered for this position, you will have previous experience of carrying out the duties listed above (or similar). In addition you will have the following attributes:-

- Adept at using Excel
- Organised
- Committed to high standards and always ready to lend a hand
- Good with people and passionate about your work
- You'll thrive on the knowledge that you're helping to make a difference
- Please note there may be some travel required, so a full UK driving licence is therefore required.

Salary and Reward on Offer:

You will be paid a competitive salary and given the opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable team.
