Job opportunity for a Food technologist position within an food testing laboratory!

Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a food testing laboratory who are looking for Food Technologist to join their team based in Rotherham.

Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing product specifications and quality with retail food suppliers
• Responsible for managing and coordinating incoming samples from retailers to the site
• Prepare food samples for analysis
• Responsible for performing physical testing, appearance testing
• Preparing data for release of retailer marketability report.
• Using technical competences to assess the compliance of the products with current
• regulations.

Requirements:
• Degree in Science or equivalent- preferably within Nutritional Science
• For this role you'll need to be able to follow strict instructions and guidelines.
• Excellent organization skills
• A scientific background (degree level) preferably in Food Sciences / Nutrition Sciences.
• Good knowledge of Food & labelling regulations.
