Forensic reporting officer
Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to a forensic testing laboratory based in Burton Upon Trent. They currently looking to hire a forensic reporting officer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Process analytical data with precision and accuracy.
Generate concise and reliable Streamlined Forensics Reports (SFR) and full section 9 statements, presenting facts and opinions.
Conduct thorough checks on reports and statements, ensuring quality and adherence to protocols.
Represent our organization in court, providing expert testimony when required.
Collaborate closely with police officers and submissions units, addressing any queries that may arise.
Become the go-to expert as the primary point of contact for our valued clients and police forces.
Independently examine a diverse range of exhibits, preparing samples for analysis while meeting productivity and quality specifications.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:
Qualifications:
A degree in Forensic Science or Chemistry, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
Experience in SFR1 and SFR2 report writing is essential
Extensive experience working in a forensics laboratory, showcasing your expertise.
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, for efficient data management.
Competent in processing results
